Who We Are
Common Ground Systems is the operational delivery platform through which we execute portfolio and asset management mandates for institutional investors and community-owned investment vehicles across Africa.
Our team combines experience from investment banking, management consulting, impact investing, and infrastructure development — with a shared commitment to working directly with the communities and stakeholders that these investments are designed to serve.
We are not detached advisors. We are resourced and committed to function as a working part of our clients' teams.
OUR PURPOSE
Why We Exist
Economies in transition — particularly those moving beyond extractive industries — face a specific challenge: how to deploy capital into infrastructure and development in a way that is both financially disciplined and genuinely aligned with community priorities.
Too often, investment management and community development operate as separate workstreams. Financial returns are tracked in one system, impact is reported in another, and the communities these investments are meant to serve are consulted rather than integrated.
Common Ground exists to close that gap.
